So Dave and I decided we wanted to paint the main wall in the living room. The landlady said it was fine, as long as we painted it back to white when we move out.
Ordering the paint was easy, Kyle (a friend of Dave's) told us where we could find a paint shop. We ordered the colour we wanted 'Pizzaz' and gave a my number for her to call later when it was ready to pick up. She took the number down wrong, so I collected it the next day.
We did two coats with a roller. We did the first together, Dave did the second. Then after staring at the wall and not being impressed with the quality of painting a wall with a roller, I did a third coat with a brush.
Here is how it went.
The all important test patch.
The first coat
I now understand why mum is so vehement that rollers are of the devil. lol.
It looks a lot more orange in the picture than it actually is. The final result :)
