Mandarin Phonics
My friend Naomi is teaching me Mandarin phonics. There are 37 symbols. It's pretty tough, I can't seem to manage the fourth tone. Once I learn them though i'll be able to read things (if they have the b,p,m,f at the side of the word- that's the phonics). But it will help me with my pronunciation so I don't keep confusing people by asking for stuff in the wrong tone...because then it's a completely different word.
